Prof. David Musial - Secretary of the Board
David Musial first discovered Hopeline by receiving an email from the founder, requesting the use of his music video/song "Don't Go Away", which is about teen suicide. The song suggests that if you need a friend, let me be your "lyrical friend" and wait another day, "Don't Go Away". David granted permission and also gave Hopeline another song "Today Is The Day" by Brady Cudmore, an amazing 18 year old who is with his Smart Trax Media company. Brady is now the Hopeline "Teen Ambassador" for his home country of Canada. David hopes that musical art from his ventures, helps people to appreciate the joy life.
David brings over 30 years of a wide variety of experience in the multimedia industry from composition and performance, to engineering and mastering, photography, graphics, web design and video directing; including publishing, promotion and artist management. He is the founder of an artist development company called "The One World Artists Group (One World Artists, LLC) which is the parent company for Smart Trax® Media, LLC and Skate Dance™ Records as well as OneWam Music Publishing, Virtual World Music Publishing and Musial Music Publishing in addition to SkyRoom Studios. He also found Smart Trax™ Live Show, Inc, (501)(c)(3) Smart Trax™ and most recently NextGen Stars™, a program in the new Smart Trax™ Music Technology School. Musial earned full scholarships and artistic sponsorships to NYU & The Juilliard School for two masters programs. (10 years in college) Musial has worked in a variety of capacities on over 100 records , (over 12 million sales 3 Gold, 2 Platinum, 1 Triple Platinum) 10 different animated series/video games, and a variety of radio shows, TV shows and films including industrials for NASA. David has also received awards, grants and endorsements: "Take A Stand" inspired and composed by Musial earned an Emmy Award for MTV. Recently he received a letter from the First Lady in the White House related to a music video creation for a 9/11 charity, which is now in th 9/11 Memorial . David created the first sound track for the "USA 2100" Project in Washington endorsed by President Clinton. Musial has composed and produced shows for positive music, which have been used all over America, from Disney to the Pentagon . Musial contributed to the Sound Design for the largest cinema in the world, (featured in KEYBOARD Magazine) at the KODAK Omnimax located inside the Statue Of Liberty Science Center. His Halloween CD's for "Drew's Famous Party Music" & "Turn Up The Music" have hit the Billboard Charts many times. . Musial produced the theme " We, Are, Drug, Free" used by D.A.R.E., A Partnership for a Drug Free America and the Young Marines , ( convention ) ( Pentagon Show ) as well as "Be G.R.E.A.T." for the U.S. Marshals, sponsored by the U.S. Dept. of Justice and "IMAPCT" for the Young Marines. Musial composed a song about the multicultural aspect of the Statue Of Liberty and won the cover of the Jersey Journal for this song and video, and it was presented live on NJ TV . David co-produced a song track that won first place at the "Apollo" in NYC. Manny Medina, trained by Musial, won first place on a LIVE Show on MTV. Musial is the founder of the Music & Technology program at Stevens Institute of Technology, which is now the largest program in the "College of Arts And Letters" at the institute. Prof. Musial inspired the "Student Division" of the Bob Moog Foundation in 2007. Musial founded a student operated record label funded by a grant and assisted Cori Yarkin who now has 3 songs in the #1 show on MTV. He has students at major record labels, publishing firms and radio stations including Atlantic, Warner, Universal, Rolling Stone, Sirus Satellite & Z100 in NYC. David's work has been endorsed by the United Way, The United States Department of Education, The United States Department of Justice, A Partnership for a Drug Free America, BuzzFreeProm.com, D.A.R.E. NJ , D.A.R.E. America and D.A.R.E. International, The United States Marshals , The United States Young Marines , The 9/11 Memorial , Camp Haze for 9/11 Children , The Dr. Martin Luther King foundation , The White House and The United Nations. The "Take A Stand" project he worked on earned an Emmy Award for MTV . As director of the Music Division of the Manhattan Model Search, he hosted talent searches in front of thousands. David is now a voting member of NARAS/The Grammys and he is now endorsed by "The Music Producer" and in 2008 & 2009 his "SkyRoom Studio" complex was voted #1 in Jersey City and in 2009, his "Smart Trax" concept was approved by D.A.R.E. International, National SCHOLASTIC and is now approved as a "partner" with Apple/iTunes. David has been featured in a multitude of press articles . Musial was entered into the prestigious book "Who's Who In America".
